Vampire Saint-Germain is also known as Zangi-Ragozh. He
and his friend, Ro-Shei, are in China where Zangi-Ragozh heads a
shipping and trading business.
While these two, along
with other merchants, were going about their usual business, little
did they know what was about to happen. Mount Krakatoa had a
major eruption. The island is almost completely destroyed,
volcanic ash was everywhere and tidal waves were hitting harbors
hundreds of miles away.
Everything turned to
devastation. The volcanic ash was blocking the sunlight.
As a result, it was getting colder. We can just imagine what
would happen with no sunlight. Crops begin to fail, livestock
and people were starving and disease was starting to
spread.
Foreigners became a target during these bad
times. Zangi-Ragozh finds his money confiscated and his life
at risk. The only answer for him was to go his homeland - a
land we call Transylvania.
Chelsea Quinn Yarbro has written
more than twenty books of the life of Vampire Saint-Germain.
This book has to be one of the best. The novel will captivate
you from page one. It is obvious the author has done much
research in writing this book. The author does an excellent
job of making the reader feel the friendship between Zangi-Ragozh
and Ro-Shei. This is an entertaining book to read and one that
is highly recommended.
