BOOK REVIEW: WORST FEARS REALIZED
BY STUART WOODS

We hope you enjoy this book review by Julie Moderson

Stuart Woods has another winner on his hands with Worst Fears Realized.

My favorite character, Stone Barrington is back again in another Stuart Woods novel. Stone Barrington is a retired police officer turned lawyer who never seems short on beautiful women and trouble. When his ex-partner on the police force, Dino talked Stone Barrington into attending a party at the District Attorneys home. All Stone wants to do is to drink one drink and go home. He meets the beautiful Assistant DA and she invites him home with her. While he is out getting Chinese food she is brutally murdered.

Things go from bad to worse when his long time secretary is murdered and a neighbor is murdered in front of him. It seems as if someone has a grudge against Stone. Dino is also targeted when his wife is attacked in front of their home. Luckily she had a gun in her purse and shot the assailant and he ran off. Dino is upset about the attack and about his wife carrying a gun that she got from her father who is a Mafia boss. Now, as Stone and Dino both come to the conclusion that the killer must be someone they know from their past law enforcement days. They send everyone they love into hiding so they will be safe while Stone and Dino search for a killer.

In the midst of searching, Stone comes back into contact with Arrington, his former lover and mother of his child who throws sparks as she meets Stone's latest fling; Dino's sister-in-law, Dolce a beautiful a hot-tempered Italian girl. Stone must find the killer before he makes him pay in ways he's never thought possible.

Worst Fears Realized was a fast paced novel with so many twists that you had no idea as to who was the killer. Stuart Woods wrote this book to keep the reader on the edge of their seats.
