BOOK REVIEW: WHITE CARGO
BY STUART WOODS

We hope you enjoy this book review by Lisa Richardson.

This was the first book by Stuart Woods I had ever read. While Mr. Woods has some series books, this is a stand-alone.

The adventure starts out quickly, and never really slows down, which is why I ended up reading the whole book in one night. The main character, Cat Catledge, is very believable, and in fact, the whole story seems as if it could have been taken from recent news stories. From tragedy involving his family and his boat, through his pain and sadness, until he decides to take action, right up to the gripping ending, the realistic feel of the events carries through.

While admittedly a lot of the scenario would depend on having the money that Mr. Catledge has at his disposal, this book is believable and a good winters night read. It would also make a good movie. Of course, you may not want to go out sailing again.......
