BOOK REVIEW: SPANKING SHAKESPEARE
BY JAKE WIZNER

We hope you enjoy this book review by Kristen Leong.

Not for the faint of heart, Spanking Shakespeare is told in first person by the man himself: Shakespeare. Not the Shakespeare we all know and hate from our high school days, but Shakespeare Shapiro, a senior at Hemingway High School. Shakespeare has lived a painful life filled with the miseries of having an alcoholic father and slightly sociopathic mother. As he recounts some of his more fond memories in his senior memoir, readers can enjoy reading about his current adventures in high school.

Jake Wizner's deubt novel is a shockingly hysterical, slightly on the lewd side, and definitely a good laugh. Be cautioned, though, this one's a PG-15.
