BOOK REVIEW: SNOW BLIND
January and the snow is deep in Minneapolis. The children look forward to a day of fun at a snow-building contest but imagine the horror when it is discovered that two of the snowmen are actually dead bodies disguised as snowmen.
Detectives Magozzi and Rolseth have a real chore in front of them to get to the bottom of this mystery. Soon another snowman is discovered in rural Dundas County where Sheriff Iris Rikker was serving her first day on the job after being elected Sheriff. Magozzi and Rolseth are called in due to the snowman connection.
In Dundas county Magozzi and Rolseth begin to believe that a strange community called Bitterroot is somehow connected to the mystery.
The Monkeewrench squad is called into action to do some computer searches and eventually the mystery is solved. But has any of the group really gotten to the bottom of what is going on at Bitterroot? You will have to read the book and make your own judgments.
