Do you want to make better career choices, conduct a successful job search campaign and be most effective in any job? If the answer is yes, this is the book for you to read. These are the main goals of this book.

The authors begin by giving the reader a guide as to how to use this book. They point out that this book also requires some participation on the part of the reader.

In chapter one the authors give us some guidelines as to how one knows if they are in the right job. If you have worked at all, you will know exactly what they mean when you read the guidelines.

The reader will get a brief history of "Type" and the authors will go on to tell us how to determine our personality type. The four dimensions of personality type are defined for us with many examples included. The next step is verifying your personality type.

A very interesting section of this book provides real-life case studies of people who have your personality type and tells you the ingredients this type of work must have in order for it to be fulfilling. You will find a list of occupations that are popular with your personality type.

Do What You Are has been updated to include jobs in today's market. There are many exercises included to help explain specific job strategies. The book is written in a manner that is easy to understand. It will help you determine your personality type and as a result, make a better career choice in life. I really found the real-life case studies very interesting when it was determined why a person was suited to a particular kind of job. This book is full of information that the reader can put to good use to land a job for a successful career. This book is highly recommended.
