Hannah Ives has been through a rough period in her life. She is a cancer survivor. There was another bad time when her husband was charged with sexual harassment by one of his students at the Naval Academy, Jennifer Goodall. Eventually, the charges were dropped and Hannah and her husband worked things out in their marriage.

Hannah's friend, Dorothy Hart, has a son attending the Naval Academy. He landed a role in the Glee Club Musical "Sweeney Todd". Dorothy agreed to help build sets but found it difficult since she was battling breast cancer. She asked Hannah to give her a hand with the sets. Hannah reluctantly agreed.

While working on the set one day, Hannah could not believe her eyes. There was Jennifer. She was reassigned back to the Naval Academy. The two get into an argument right in front of the cast. A short time later, Jennifer's body is discovered in a trunk that was used on the set. Everything pointed to Hannah as the murderer.

Who murdered Jennifer? Was it Hannah?

Hannah decides to take the case into her own hands. She must prove her innocence. Is she successful?

Marcia Talley does a great job of keeping the murderer such a secret you won't be able to solve this one on your own. This book has an intriguing plot, is fast paced and fun to read because it will keep you guessing right to the very end. This one is highly recommended. You won't be sorry!
