BOOK REVIEW: THE FOURTH VICTIM
BY TONY SPINOSA

We hope you enjoy this book review by Patricia Reid.

Oil truck drivers are being murdered. What is behind these killings? Are the deaths the result of a simple robbery or is there more behind the killings? These are questions that Joe Serape and Bob Healy are determined to answer.

Joe and Bob are both ex-police officers and the owners of an oil company. A very unlikely partnership but it seems to work. When the fourth victim of the oil company murders turns out to be an ex-policeman Joe feels that he must investigate. Rusty Monaco was not a person that many people liked. He was prejudiced and self-serving but he did perform one act that saved Joe’s life. Bob felt since he was Joe’s partner that he must get into the act as well.

Their investigation takes them on a journey of discovery. The two will meet new people and reunite with old enemies. Soon they discover that it is not only the murder of the oil truck drivers that needs some checking out. A mother presses the issue of her son’s death that has never been solved. Corruption is uncovered every step of the way.

This is the second book Tony Spinosa has written about Joe Serpe and Bob Healy. The first book is Hose Monkey. I would suggest you read the books in order although I didn’t but I do intend to read the first book in the series. It is not necessary to read Hose Monkey to enjoy The Fourth Victim. Tony Spinosa is the pseudonym of author Reed Farrel Coleman.
