Gregory Danes was well known as being quite successful in the
stock market. However, things began to go downhill when among
other things, Danes is accused of insider training. Now he is
best known for his temper. One day Danes stormed out of his
office and never returned.
His ex-wife, a fashionable
painter, wants to know why she is no longer receiving alimony checks
in the mail. She is not so much concerned about Danes but is
more worried about her checks. She hires private investigator
John March to find out what happened to Danes.
March's
investigation began as a missing person's case but turned into much
more. March soon finds out that he is not the only person
looking for Gregory Danes. Apparently, Danes has several
enemies.
Who are the other people looking for Gregory Danes
and why?
Peter Spiegelman has created an excellent
thriller. The novel takes place with the world of high finance
in the background and that is what really makes it
interesting. The author has a way of drawing the reader
in from the very first page and holds your attention throughout the
book. Private investigator John March is an excellent
character that adds much to the story because he is so strong willed
and determined. This book is highly recommended and should be
added to your reading list.
