BOOK REVIEW: PAPER SCISSORS DEATH
BY JOANNA CAMPBELL SLAN

We hope you enjoy this book review by Patricia Reid.

When Kiki Lowensteinís husband George is found dead in a hotel room, Kikiís world is turned completely upside down. George and Kiki didnít have an ordinary marriage. George married Kiki when it was discovered that she was pregnant with their daughter Anya.

George owned his own business and Kiki was used to having a nice car, good clothes and a beautiful home. Georgeís death brought all of this to an abrupt end. Kiki found that George owed money she was unaware of and that his insurance beneficiary was his mother.

Georgeís mother had never liked Kiki and Kiki could not look forward to help from her mother-in-law. Kikiís talent was in scrap booking and she took a job using that talent. She soon found that people were whispering behind her back about another love in Georgeís life.

Kiki finally took matters in her own hands with the help of a few friends and began an investigation into Georgeís murder.

Paper Scissors Death is a fast-paced mystery that I found very enjoyable. The hints on the proper tools and materials to use for scrap booking found at the end of the chapters gave me a better knowledge of the hobby.
