BOOK REVIEW: DECEIT
Tom Valle was a star reporter at one time until the truth came out that he had fictionalized much of his stories. There were too many stories that appeared to be made up - 56 to be exact. He lost his job as a result of all the lies.
Tom now works for a small town newspaper in Littleton, California where he reports on not so very exciting stories like the local news and car accidents.
One evening, Tom was sent to cover a car accident. This turns out to be a story that could revive Tom's career. As Tom starts to investigate he begins to discover a case of stolen identity and conspiracy. The only problem is who will believe him when he has a reputation for fabricating so many stories in the past?
Several strange incidents start to happen around Tom and he soon realizes he is in great danger. He also feels like he is the only one who cares about really finding out the truth.
Is Tom able to find anyone who will believe him? Will he redeem his career?
James Siegel takes the reader on an adventurous ride. He writes with such details that the reader will feel like they are right there with Tom on his investigation. The story has plenty of twists and turns at every corner to keep the reader in suspense. If you are a fan of James Siegel you know that he is a great suspense writer and this book will not disappoint you. Be sure to add this one to your reading list.
