At a
meeting of the British Intelligence Joint Counter-Terrorist group an
announcement is made that the opposition may be about to deploy an
"invisible". An invisible is a terrorist who is an ethnic
native of the target country and who can cross its borders
unchecked, travel about the country without being questioned and go
about their business without little notice in the task of setting up
to do some terrible harm.
Liz Carlyle, intelligence officer,
has worked her way up through the ranks of Britain's Security
Service, M15. Once her agents analyze information, she
realizes there definitely is a terrorist threat.
Will Liz be
able to put her experience to work in tracking down the
terrorist? Will she be able to do this in time?
This is an exciting thriller. The book is loaded with
suspense. What makes this book a great read is Stella
Rimington's descriptive style of writing. She makes the reader
feel like they are right there in the middle of the
excitement. This is Stella Rimington's debut thriller and if
this is any indication of her writing ability, we certainly look
forward to more books by this author. All you spy fans are in
for a treat!
