BOOK REVIEW: YOU'VE BEEN WARNED
Kristin Burns is working as a nanny for the time being. Her main goal in life is to become a photographer. Kristin might get her big break as an elite Manhattan art gallery is considering her photographs. She has a man that makes her very happy. What could be wrong with all of this?
The problem is that Kristin is working as a nanny for the Trumbull family. She loves the two children; however their father, Michael, is the man she is involved with. Their mother, Penley, is someone Kristin does not look forward to facing each day. Kristin has been having recurring nightmares that involve dead people. These nightmares seem to becoming true. Will someone discover what is going on between the two? Where will this all end? Is Michael sincere about their relationship or is he playing a game?
This book is quite a change from the usual James Patterson detective books. I love the Alex Cross books and anything that this author writes about but You’ve Been Warned takes the reader to a different level. You will feel like you are living the recurring nightmares right along with Kristin. The short chapters that this author is so well known for make this book move at a “double” fast pace as you speed through the chapters to find out what happens next. Even though the Kristin is doing something that is not right you will start to sympathize with her. You’ve Been Warned is a gripping novel that will keep the reader turning the pages at all hours of the night. Once again, James Patterson does not disappoint his fans with this exciting novel. Be sure to add You’ve Been Warned to your reading list.
