Nora
Sinclair was leading a double life. She was married to Walker
and at the same time, engaged to a man named Connor. She knew
she would have to make a decision as to which one she really wanted
- or should we say which one she wanted to murder first!
Men
found it hard to resist Nora. She had great looks and a
matching personality. The FBI started to get a little
suspicious of Nora when it was noticed that things were happening to
some of the men she had been around. When Agent O'Hara starts
to investigate a little more closely, what happens to him?
Does he get tangled in Nora's web of misfortune? Is he really
trying to find justice or is he so attracted to Nora that he just
can't let go?
Then there was Nora's first husband, Dr. Tom
Hollis, a well-known cardiologist who died at the age of 42.
Supposedly he died in a medical mix-up - or did he? Was Nora
involved in his death also?
In between all of Nora's
shenanigans enters someone called "The Tourist". Who is he and
what role does he play?
James Patterson and Howard Roughan
have done an excellent job in creating this exciting book. It
is called the 2005 International Thriller of the Year. You
will see why when you start to read it. There is plenty of
suspense to keep you interested from cover to cover. You will
also start to feel trapped by Nora's web. This book,
consistent with several of James Patterson's other books, contains
very short chapters. They are almost like a "tease". You
just want to continue on to the next one to find out what
happens. Hats off to Mr. Patterson and Mr. Roughan for
creating a thrilling book! Add this one to your reading
list.
