BOOK REVIEW: THE GOLDEN CHILDREN'S BIBLE
The Golden Children's Bible was originally published in 1965 and has been reissued in July, 2006.
The Golden Children's Bible consists of six parts: parts one through four drawn from the Old Testament, parts five and six from the New Testament. It includes the major biblical stories like "The Creation", "The Garden of Eden", "The Serpent in the Garden", "Cain and Abel" and "Noah and the Ark". The reissued version has a new cover with gold foil but the classic stories remain.
This book is written in language that is easy for the young reader to understand. Each page has beautiful, colorful illustrations. Children will probably need help with the names in the Bible. Years ago, many people were given a copy of this book when they were a child and now they are doing the same thing - passing one on to their children and grandchildren. This is an excellent book for parents to use when teaching their children about Jesus. If a child is too young to read this book, they will enjoy their parents reading it to them. Parents will enjoy reading this book also!
