What happens when a son finds out about his father's secret life?

Dexter Shaw died in a mysterious explosion. His son, Braverman Shaw, knew nothing about his father's secret life. To Bravo, his dad was just a normal father. He was in for a very big surprise.

It didn't take Bravo very long to realize his father was a high-ranking member of the Order of Gnostic Observatines, a sect founded by the followers of St. Francis of Assisi. It was also believed that this order was no longer around.

This order has preserved an ancient cache of documents, including a long-lost Testament, which could have large implications on Christianity. Bravo is now the successor.

There is another group that is interested in this cache. They are called the Knights of St. Clement. They have their own agenda for wanting this very important cache.

Before Dexter died, he hid the cache where only Bravo could find it. Now Bravo must follow the clues left by his father in order to search for the cache.

Is Bravo successful at finding the cache?

This is a must read book for fans of books like the DaVinci Code. There are no dull moments in this one. Eric Van Lustbader makes the reader feel like they are part of the search for the cache. This book is a thriller that is fast paced and will keep you on the edge of your seat. You might wonder why Bravo got involved in all of this but the reader will go away the impression that Bravo is doing this because it was a very important part of his father's life and he must continue on with it. This is a good one - be sure to add it to your reading list.
