Things
haven't been going too great for Mark Hayes a Hollywood
producer. He hasn't spoken to his neighbor, Clyde McCoy, since
the night of the Simpson murders. Clyde showed insensitivity
to the fact that a friend of Mark's died. Clyde did manage to
come through with an apology stating that he doesn't "do well around
death".
Mark had to turn things around. He decided he
was desperate enough to work with Clyde, who was a
screenwriter. Clyde had the backing to produce his latest
script "Blonde Lightning". The only problem with Clyde was
that he drank too much. Mark invested what little savings he
had into the film and for this he was given the title of associate
producer.
Problems began to develop on the set when a
crewmember is nearly electrocuted. Mark is suspicious and
believes this was done by Mace Thornburg who seemed to have a grudge
against everyone in the industry. When another accident takes
place involving Clyde's girlfriend, Clyde and Mark decide its time
to join forces and get revenge.
Where does this lead
Mark and Clyde?
Terrill Lee Lankford has written an
exciting thriller. The author does an excellent job of
introducing us to the characters and after that everything just
seems to fall into place - just like a movie script. There is
plenty of action and suspense so be prepared to spend some time -
you won't want to stop once you start reading this book.
