Cece
Caruso is a biographer and amateur sleuth. Like many of us,
she spent her youth admiring the girl detective, Nancy Drew.
She has now taken on the task of writing the biography of Carolyn
Keene.
While researching the life of Carolyn Keene, Cece
meets Edgar Edwards who was known as an eccentric collector of Nancy
Drew books called "Blue Nancys" which were the original books
with blue covers. Cece was invited to be a speaker at a Nancy
Drew Convention. When Edgar heard about this he offers to let
her use his vacation house.
One thing Cece didn't
expect while at Edgar's house was to find his body in the swimming
pool. Cece now becomes a suspect.
Who killed
Edgar? Cece has a few ideas of her own as to who murdered
Edgar and is determined to find the person.
Susan Kandel has
written an excellent book. It has suspense, a great plot and
will also give you some laughs along the way. We really can't
ask for too much more in a book. Be sure to add this one to
your reading list. Nancy Drew fans will love this book, as
will any mystery fan.
