BOOK REVIEW: UNDRESSED:
The author, Jason Illian, gives us his thoughts on love, sex and dating. One of the statements made by Jason is "successful couples never stop dating, even fifty years into marriage". Think about the couples you know that are married that long and you will see that this statement really makes sense.
Another statement made by Jason is "dating is relating to other people - when you learn to relate you learn to love". He states that many Christian circles make dating one of the seven deadly sins because for some reason dating is not mentioned in the Bible. Jason is quick to point out that automobiles are not mentioned in the Bible either but that doesn't mean that people walk to work each morning.
Jason lists what he believes are the five commandments of dating. Here you will find some very interesting insights.
Jason gives us details on "The Sexual Ladder". Here he breaks everything down into three categories: permissible and beneficial, permissible but not necessarily beneficial and not permissible and not beneficial.
One of my favorite parts of this book is when Jason tells us "How will I know when it is love?" Here he lists several examples. You will find some of these very funny.
In the back of the book Jason lists each of his chapters and several corresponding Bible scriptures that go with each one.
This is an interesting book to read and one that single adults will love. Jason tells it like it is with his insights on a very important subject. This is a book that will interest those on the dating scene because these words are coming from a young man who is experiencing life just like those reading the book. This book is highly recommended.
