LAND OF ECHOES - DANIEL HECHT

Tommy Keeday is a student at a boarding school for gifted Navajo teens.  Suddenly, some type of illness strikes Tommy.  He appears to be having some kind of seizure, which makes his body twist and convulse.  However, tests have ruled out a medical condition.

Was Tommy ill?  His family believes the spirit of a dead relative possesses him.  Could they be right?

Principal, Julieta McCarty enlists the help of paranormal investigator Cree Black to find out what is happening to Tommy.  Is Cree successful?

The author, Daniel Hecht, has written a fascinating book.  He does a superb job of blending the Navajo culture into the novel.  There are some very interesting characters in the story.  One of them is the principal, Julieta, who has some skeletons in her closet.  She is not the only one!  This book is a great read and one that is highly recommended.  Fans of the supernatural will love this one!
