BOOK REVIEW: DEAD DAYS OF SUMMER |

Annie Darling is the owner of a bookstore called Death on Demand. She
sometimes gets involved in some sleuthing of her own.
Her husband, Max, called home to let Annie know he would not be home
for
dinner. Annie knew by the sound of his voice that he was rushed. Max
told
Annie he had a case.
The case that Max was working on involved Vanessa Taylor. She asked
for his
help in locating her brother.
When Max fails to return home, Annie gets concerned and calls the
police.
Then the unimaginable starts to happen. After a search, they locate
his car
and the body of a dead woman nearby. To make matters worse, the murder
weapon is located in the trunk of the car. Now it looks like Max was
having
an affair.
Annie now must do what she can to prove Max did not commit this murder.
The
evidence continues to build against Max. The Chief of Police, Billy
Cameron, is called off the case but he continues to help Annie. Annie
must
go undercover to try and clear Max.
Is Annie able to solve this case and clear her husband’s name?
Carolyn Hart is an expert at creating the page-turner mystery book.
There
are many twists and turns in this novel that will keep the reader
guessing.
This author is a skilled writer and always creates a great cast of characters for the reader to enjoy. Carolyn Hart fans are in for a real treat! This book
is
highly recommended.
