Davis Moore is a fertility doctor who specializes in reproductive cloning. Cloning, as we all know, is a very controversial subject. His seventeen-year-old daughter is brutally raped and murdered. There is an investigation but the case remained unsolved. What is a father to do?
Dr. Moore came up with a brilliant idea. He picked up his daughter's belongings from the police department. Much to his surprise, along with the personal items, was a vial containing the DNA of the killer. This is when the thought came to Dr. Moore. Was it possible to clone his daughter's killer?
Sure it was possible and did happen. The child's name is Justin. Several of the chapters that follow detail Justin's life as he was growing up. Of course Justin's parents had no idea as to what was going on in the mind of Dr. Moore. Dr. Moore knew that one day Justin's face would be the exact match of the person who killed his daughter.
Has Dr. Moore gone too far to find his daughter's killer?
This is a thrilling suspense novel. What makes it very interesting is the controversial subject of cloning. The author does an outstanding job of introducing the subject and blending it with suspense. Then he adds interesting characters to it to make the novel a very smooth read. It's a real page-turner so don't plan on reading a chapter or two at a time. You won't want to put the book down! There is a surprise ending too! The story has many subplots and twists to it. This is Kevin Guilfoile's first novel. If this is any indication of his writing skills, we will be seeing his name on the bestseller list many times.
