Everything is going great for Kate Raab. She is working in a job she loves and has a great relationship with her boyfriend. One day, due to a phone call, all of this changed. Kate was informed that her father, Ben, had been arrested for laundering money for an illicit international business. Kate's father is a gold trader.
Ben insists that he is innocent but he has to testify against his accomplices and his family must be placed in the Witness Protection Program. Kate loves her life and does not want to go into hiding.
A year later, Ben is missing from the Witness Protection Program. When a person is missing from the program they are referred to as being in the "blue zone". To make matters worse, the FBI agent in charge of his case is murdered and her best friend nearly killed. What is going on? Has Kate been betrayed by her father? Has he been telling her nothing but lies?
As Kate heads west, she finds danger along with a stranger who might possibly have the answers about what her father has been hiding from her all these years.
Does Kate find the real answers as to what happened and whether or not her father is telling her the truth?
The Blue Zone is the solo debut novel by Andrew Gross who has written several books with James Patterson. This novel will make the readers want to hold on to their seat because it moves at such a fast place. There are so many twists that the reader will have a difficult but fun time trying to keep up with the changes. I had a difficult time trying to put this book down. Right from the very first page you are absorbed into a thrilling story by this author. This is a good one! Be sure to add The Blue Zone to your reading list. I highly recommend it.
