Christian Gillette was chosen to eulogize his former
boss. Gillette, who was only 36 years old, had just been voted
in as the new Chairman in a controversial vote that was done within
three days of Donovan's death as stipulated in the operating
agreement. In a very close vote, Gillette beat Troy Martin for
the job.
After the funeral, Gillette's limousine driver
opened the door for him when the car suddenly exploded. The
driver and a woman who was nearby were killed.
Gillette now realizes that with his new job he has also
taken on some risks. He wondered who would want him
dead. Could it be Troy since the vote was so close?
Could it be one of his enemies in the world of multi-billion dollar
deals? Gillette was determined not to let this explosion stop
him from taking the company and himself even higher.
Gillette
knew one thing for sure - never trust anyone. Does Gillette
face even more danger as he tries to make the company more
successful? What else does he discover about corporate
sabotage?
This is a novel with a great plot. We have
the exciting world of finance in the background and all the ruthless
things that can happen in between. Stephen Frey does an
excellent job introducing the characters. There is plenty of
suspense. It will keep you on edge! Get ready to
sit back and enjoy this one. This book is highly
recommended.
