Cassidy Beckett has gone through a rough time a long time ago involving a betrayal and it has left her very unforgiving.

She did not want to think about the past and became a workaholic. She kept busy by being a schoolteacher, running the reading program at her church and using her faith to help hide her feelings.

What happens when Trevor Monroe comes to live with her and her aunt? She says there is no way she is interested in this man even though many other women would take him in a minute. Monroe is a single father and a widower. There is something about Monroe as he manages to break down Cassidy's wall of defense.

A relationship is starting between Cassidy and Monroe. Cassidy knows she has to confront her past. How does she manage to do this?

The author has written a very inspiring book and shows the reader that through our faith all things are possible. This book is a fast read and is one that you will enjoy. The author has done an excellent job in portraying the characters and they will stay in the reader's memory for a long time. This book is entertainment at its best so be sure to add this one to your list of books to read.
