BOOK REVIEW: FATALLY FLAKY
BY DIANE MOTT DAVIDSON

We hope you enjoy this book review by Nancy Eaton.

Goldy Schultz is quite busy trying to plan two wedding receptions. Normally, this task would be no problem for Goldy but one of the brides, Billie Attenborough, has really given Goldy a difficult time. Not only has Billie changed the menu six times and the event date twice but now she wants to move the location to the Gold Gulch Spa with just two days remaining before the big event. No wonder Goldy refers to Billie as the “Bride from Hell”!

Doc Finn, the local physician and best friend of Goldy’s godfather Jack, is killed in an accident. Jack, on the other hand, does not believe this was an accident. Doc was doing some research at the spa and Jack believes this might have been enough of a reason for someone to kill him. This does prove to be the case when Jack is attacked.

Goldy knows she must now go undercover at the spa. She is well aware of the attack on Jack when he got a little too suspicious and the same thing could very possibly happen to her. We all know this does not stop Goldy from getting involved.

Is Goldy able to solve this case?

I always enjoy reading a Goldy Schultz book. There is just enough suspense to make the book intriguing and a lot of situations that will make you laugh along the way. Goldy always seems to be involved in situations that go awry but she manages to handle them. As always, Diane Mott Davidson includes many yummy recipes for the readers.
