BOOK REVIEW:
NO ONE HEARD HER SCREAM
BY JORDAN DANE

We hope you enjoy this book review by Caryn St. Clair.

As the first book of a trilogy to be released, No One Heard Her Scream is a firecracker of a beginning for author Dane.

Five months ago, Danielle Montgomery disappeared. While presumed dead, her body was never found. Since then, there have been two similar abductions. San Antonio Police Detective Rebecca Montgomery wants to work on the abduction cases, but because her sister's case is still open, and might be connected, she is forbidden from being involved.

Instead, she is assigned to investigate a fire in a theater where the body of a young woman is found concealed in a wall. Since arsonists often watch their fires, Rebecca surveys the crowd looking for possible suspects and spots a a man who appears to not fit. Unfortunately, Rebecca finds herself attracted to that man, Diego Galvan. While discovering who he is, she uncovers a possible link between her victim and the abductions.

Dane will have readers on the edge of their seats with this one! When Rebecca falls for Diego, the mystery man from the fire, is she opening herself up to the killer or one of the good guys? Often romantic suspense novels get bogged down with either the passion slowing down the suspense or with the suspense overshadowing the characters. That is not so with No One Heard Her Scream. With an excellent blend of romance and suspense, readers are tossed between hoping for love and fearing danger. As the tension builds, readers will have the pages flying to reach the surprising conclusion.
