This book includes four short stories - Rejuvenilities, Finnegan's Parish, Dr. Knickerbacker and The Next Door Clandestine.
I won't sum up the stories because that might give too much away. We will leave that part for the reader to enjoy. My favorite is "Rejuvenilities". I absolutely loved the characters.
The author, John Dahlgren, has shown by this book that he is a very clever and witty writer. These are four stories that the reader will find thoroughly entertaining. The characters, in each of the four stories, are described in so much vivid detail that the reader gets an immediate impression as to what they look like. This is something that absolutely shines through for this author - he has the talent for creating these quirky but likeable characters.
If you are looking for something different to read, add "Finnegan's Parish" to your list. It is sure to make you have a few laughs. If you want to read something that will make you relax after a hard day at work, this is the book for you. This book is a fast read and you will probably finish it in one sitting. So do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this book. It's one that you will thoroughly enjoy!
