BOOK REVIEW: SAKS & VIOLINS |
Hillside Manor is a bed and breakfast run by Judith McMonigle Flynn. Judith seems to have a knack for getting herself involved in mysteries and her cousin Renie is always on hand to help.
When Dolph Kluger, a guest at the B&B, drops dead just down the street everyone becomes a suspects.
It is hard to keep score with so many people coming and going. There is a murder and then Renie finds out her credit cards were stolen the night Dolph died. Rudi, Judith’s neighbor and the person Dolph has come to visit, reports his priceless violin bow has been stolen.
Saks & Violins is full of humor and you need a scorecard to keep up with all the action. Judith’s mother is in a wheelchair and lives in the tool shed and she is always good for a laugh.
This is a great book for people that love cozies and a lot of humor.
