BOOK REVIEW: VINEYARD PREY |
|
This delightful and fast moving book will make you feel as though you actually are on Martha’s Vineyard. J W Jackson is a retired cop but he has a tough time keeping the cop out of his life. JW gets involved with some old friends that are in law enforcement. Of course, JW cannot stick to his scallop catching, but he just has to get his nose in the mysterious activities on Martha’s Vineyard. In actuality, he does help his old friends and, the reluctant to receive help, local police.
There is fun, mystery, love, sportsmanship, and as a plus, you can even get some great scallop recipes! A good fast read that follows JW as he protects his family from the bad guys and really does help solve the killings. The law tries to find the Easter Bunny, but not the traditional Easter Bunny you picture. This bunny is a killer of humans and no one knows who he/she is. You will be surprised as this story unravels and you become more and more engrossed. You will love it.
