This book consists of over 100 poems, prayers and inspirational quotes, which are broken down into categories. The categories are: pregnancy, birth, new baby, babyhood, toddlerhood, christenings, reflections and inspiration. There are several poems and prayers under each category.
Mothers-to-be will love the poems like "Expecting", "Hello" and "A Single Heart" just to name a few. New mothers will appreciate the poems that reflect on the birth of the child like "Labor's Pain", "Newborn" and "the Birthing". There are several beautiful and inspirational prayers like "Mother's Midnight Prayer" and "New Mother's Prayer". The new mother will also enjoy reading the poems and prayers in the sections called "Inspiration" and "Reflections".
If you know of someone who is expecting a baby, this would make a wonderful gift. There is an inscription page for the person giving the gift to complete. This book is something a new mother will treasure and want to keep with her throughout the years. The new mother will appreciate reading all the poems and prayers as she goes through each stage with her new child. Having a new baby is emotional stage in a new mother's life and this book reflects exactly that - pure emotion put into beautiful words! This book is highly recommended.
