BOOK REVIEW: REMEMBER ME
Sam Tibbits and his family always spent their summer vacation at Piddock Beach in Oregon. There, as a young boy, he met Aubrey McCart. They were very good friends and as they grew older their relationship developed into much more.
Sam realized that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Aubrey. Much to his surprise, he finds that Aubrey's family has moved and left no forwarding address. He never heard from Aubrey again.
Several years later, Sam is still unmarried and pasturing a church. He decides to take some time off and return to Piddock Beach hoping to regain some of the joy of his past.
When Sam returns to Piddock Beach he is very surprised to see that Aubrey has come there also. Are these two able to get together now at this point in their lives?
This is a heart-warming story and it will keep the reader turning the pages to see what happens to Sam and Aubrey. The author does an excellent job of describing the Oregon coast, which helps to set the tone for the story. This is a memorable book about the friendship of two people and how the emotions of the relationship survived over the years. This book is highly recommended.
