BOOK REVIEW: NO REST FOR THE WICCAN
BY MADELYN ALT

We hope you enjoy this book review by Patricia Reid.

Maggie OíNeill has found that she has a special talent and this talent has led her to become a member of a group called the N.I.G.H.T.S. The initials stand for the North Indiana Ghost Hunting and Tracking Society. Maggieís employment at Enchantment, a shop run by Felicity Dow, has led her to become involved with the N.I.G.H.T.S.

A sister can be a real blessing but at times when your sister canít seem to keep from gossiping it would be very easy to strangle her or at least gag her. This is the situation with Maggie OíNeill and her sister Mel.

Mel is the sister that went out into the world and did exactly what her mother wanted for her. She married a man successful in his business, lives in a beautiful home and is now pregnant with her third child. This pregnancy has forced Mel to stay in bed and her mother has leaned on Maggie to help out with the children and the chores. Maggie relents and helps out Mel but soon finds that there is a spirit dwelling in Melís home.

Mel begs Maggie to take action and get her friends to help chase away the spirit. Soon Maggie is the talk of the town. Mel just canít keep a secret and everyone in the town of Stony Mill is talking about spirits, ghosts and goblins.

When a local man dies from what appears to be an accident his wife comes to Maggie to clear the business of his spirit or any spirits that might be hanging out there. Soon Maggie figures out that the accident isnít really an accident.

No Rest for the Wiccan is an entertaining book with not nearly as much paranormal as you would think from the title.
