Experience Your Dream Job Dump the Corporate Stress for a Day or Two
By: L Winslow

Have you ever considered that you hate your job, well you do not hate it exactly, after all you are successful and many people would love to have your job. You are thankful for your talents and your well-paying job, but still something is a miss. With all the stress, hassles and just plain "life" issues, wouldn't you just like to see if the grass is really greener on the other side, just once?

Think of all the chaos and controversy surrounding your corporate life, it is not as if these things are secret in any way. We all know what the reality is and for those who don't there are plenty of books on the subject they can read, such as:

"The Corporate Steeplechase - Predictable Crises in a Business Career" by Dr. Scrully Blotnick - 1984.

There are many issues explains the author where behavior, belief and attitude govern one's corporate career. Sometimes taking a stand is problematic for ones career. The biggest crises in ones career is when you lose your job, but it happens. There are ways to beat the system Says Dr. Blotnick, which he carefully outlines. One needs to decide if they are an independent thinker or a corporate terrorist with insubordination tendencies. If you are going to switch jobs, you need a checklist and it must be planned for a smooth transition.

Knowing how to become indispensible to the company is paramount, and this book gives you the secrets. Manipulating the boss can put you inline to be the boss and when it is your turn to go how to pick the successor is key to your legacy. And in case you are thinking about self-employment, the author explains the pitfalls in that too, and I imagine he is doing this from experience, you decide after reading The Corporate Steeplechase.

Well there you have it the problems, and I suppose you might better see yourself in a Dream Job as a NASCAR Driver or the CEO of a Large Computer company? For instance, if you read this book you will understand that there are better jobs out there:

"The Silicon Boys and their Valley of Dreams" by David A. Kaplan - 1999.

This book takes you through the lives of Computer Company and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs like; Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Jerry Yang, Larry Ellison, Andy Grove, John Doerr, Marc Andreessen and Jim Clark. These folks have more than they can spend in a lifetime and enjoy everything from jet fighter planes to multi-million dollar racing sailboats. Sure they work hard and there is challenge in their jobs, as they command an army of soldiers and corporate employees, but what's it all about? Wouldn't you like to know? Well then you will need to read this book.

Still wouldn't you like to experience it in real time? Wouldn't you like to live your dream job for a day or two? If so what would that dream job be, what would you like to be today? Dare to dream. And if you have the money there is now a company that can make it so, again for a small fee, I think the company is called Vocations - Vocations or something like that, oh yes, here it is:
