Skip
Langdon has a rival, police detective Errol Jacomine. He is
also an evangelical preacher and has run for mayor of New
Orleans. He now wants to become President of the United
States. There is one problem - he has a strange way of
campaigning by using methods like theft, kidnapping and
murder.
Skip has been after Jacomine for a long time.
Now, however, the gears are reversed and Jacomine is coming after
Skip, her boyfriend and friends. Skip must find Jacomine
before he finds her. One problem - he has done something and
now his own children don't recognize him. Will Skip find
Jacomine in time?
It is always entertaining to read a Skip
Langdon book by Julie Smith. Julie is excellent at portraying
her characters to make them seem so real. If you haven't read
any other Skip Langdon stories by Julie Smith, you will definitely
want to go back and read the others after you have read this book
because you will see what you have been missing. They are well
worth your time.
