Charles Schine's life each day is almost like
clockwork. He catches the 8:43 train to Manhattan where he
works as an advertiser. He has a young diabetic
daughter. As he was tending to her needs one day, he missed
his usual train. As a result, Charles had to take a later
train.
This is when he met a beautiful woman named
Lucinda. Charles did not have enough cash to pay for his
ticket and Lucinda offered to pay for him. It all began
quite innocent with a little flirting. However, after Charles
and Lucinda ended up in a hotel things begin to go awry. An
armed man broke into the room, beat Charles and raped Lucinda.
He then threatens to blackmail Charles for a lot of money.
Charles decides to seek revenge.
This book is a
thriller! It draws you in from the very beginning and won't
let you go until you reach the end of the book. James Siegel
does an excellent job of making you feel that you are right in the
middle of Charles Schine's problems. You will find many twists
and turns in the story that help make it very interesting. My
advice - run out and buy this book!
