THE 30 DAY NATURAL HORMONE TREATMENT PLAN - ERIKA SCHWARTZ

This book states that new findings continue to link the use of synthetic HRT with increased risk of breast cancer, heart disease and stroke and many women are seeking a way to relieve their symptoms.

Dr. Erika Schwartz is an expert in
natural hormone therapy.  She wrote this book to show you how to balance your hormones in order to feel great and look good.  As the book cover states, her program will "make you feel younger and stronger in days, eliminate the signs and symptoms of menopause, solve many health problems that may have been plaguing you since puberty, end food cravings, flush toxins in your body and make exercise a simple part of your daily routine."

Dr. Schwartz begins by giving very detailed and easy to understand descriptions of what we need to know about hormones and what happens when our hormone balance is "out of whack".  She also has a section indicating what one should do before beginning this program.  Dr. Schwartz also gives detailed information on supplements and exercise while on this program.

The program section is a full day-by-day listing of what you need to do during this 30 day period in order to succeed.  Each day has a journal where you can list your meals for the day.  There is a chart to keep track of your exercise and the time spent on each activity.  The last chart is to keep track of your lifestyle.

Dr. Schwartz has written a very comprehensive, informative book.  There are samples of what your diet should include each day and she is also specific on the supplements you need to take while on this program.  She also gives you ideas as to how to exercise.  There are some recipes included and a list of hormonal friendly and unfriendly foods.  In case you have come across a word in this book and you weren't quite sure of the meaning, she has even included a glossary.  This book is well written and is easy to understand.  As usual, you should consult with your doctor before making any changes regarding your health.
