THE PROMISE OF A LIE - HARRY ROUGHAN

New York psychologist, David Remier, is in for quite a surprise.  He had an appointment scheduled with Samantha Kent.  She told David that she wanted to murder her husband who has been abusive.  David tried to talk her out of this idea but the next time he heard from Samantha, she had already killed her husband.

When David arrived at Samantha's apartment, he discovered the husband's body but Samantha was nowhere in site.  Neither was her son.   The police arrested David.  His story did not make much sense to them.  To make matters worse, a knife was discovered missing from David's house.

The shocking truth is that Samantha Kent is still alive.  Who was this imposter?  Why did she involve David?  How is he going to clear his name?

This book involves an extraordinary frame-up!  The author does an excellent job of taking all aspects of involved in a frame-up and combining them into a legal thriller that is exciting and filled with suspense.  There are many twists in the plot and the courtroom spectacles are also filled with excitement.  You don't want to miss out on this one!
