BOOK REVIEW

THE TRUE AND OUTSTANDING ADVENTURES OF THE HUNT SISTERS - ELISABETH ROBINSON

This book is completely written in the form of letters, faxes and e-mails.  The main character, Olivia Hunt, film producer, writes the letters.  The letters don't hold back on anything!  She writes about little things that happened to her and the very important incidents in her life.

Some of Olivia's letters are funny.  These include the letters written about Hollywood and her romances.  However, when her sister is diagnosed with cancer, her letters reflect the pain she felt.  In the middle of all this, Olivia is trying to put together a deal for a production of Don Quixote.

This book will make you laugh at times and also bring a tear to your eyes, as Olivia tries to balance her own life and help her sister.   There are times that Olivia even drafts a copy of a suicide note.

This is a debut novel for Elisabeth Robinson.  She does a great job of showing a bond between sisters.  The story is very moving and even though it is the work of fiction, it seems so real.  This is a great read!
