BOOK REVIEW

CALIFORNIA GIRLS - T. JEFFERSON PARKER

This is the story of the Becker brothers and how their past has come back to haunt them.  What made things really interesting is when the body of Janelle Vonn was found in an orange packing plant.

The Beckers and the Vonns go way back.  There were fights between the brothers of the two families when they were in high school.

Time goes on and the Becker brothers are now grown up.  One is a reporter waiting for his "big story".  One is a minister hoping for something miraculous to happen and the other is a cop working on his first homicide case.

As the case starts to evolve, the Becker brothers are drawn into danger.  What happens when each brother tries to find Janelle's killer?

T. Jefferson Parker is such a talented writer.  This book is an excellent thriller.  The author is very clever at creating his plots.  You remain mystified throughout the book.  This book reads at a good pace and you will certainly not be bored.  T. Jefferson Parker keeps getting better with each book.   If you haven't read any of T. Jefferson Parker's books, you are missing out on something special.  This one is highly recommended!
