OUT OF REACH - PATRICIA LEWIN

Erin Baker is a professor at Georgetown University.  She is also a CIA agent working undercover.

When Erin was a child, she and her sister, Claire, were at the park.  Erin was supposed to look after her sister but within moments Claire's sister was kidnapped.  Claire was found several years later but she was changed forever.  Erin always felt guilty for what happened to her.

One day Erin spotted an ice cream vendor performing magic tricks for some kids.  All of a sudden, Erin realized this man looked familiar.  She believed it was the same man that was in the park the day her sister was kidnapped.

When another child in the area is abducted, Erin believes this case is connected to her sister's kidnapping.  She enlists the help of Alec Donovan, an FBI agent, who had the reputation of finding missing children.

Did the magician play a part in the kidnapping of these children?  If so, what was the magician doing with the children?

As Erin and Alec pursue the case, their lives are in danger.

This is an excellent book loaded with suspense.  It is fast paced and this continues right to the end.  The plot is intriguing and will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next.  This is one you should add to your reading list - you won't be disappointed.
