This
book consists of five novella tales. The book states that these are
ghost stories but after you read them you will come to the
conclusion that they are not your "typical" ghost story.
One
story in this book is titled "Dancing Men". It is about a young boy
who visits his deranged grandfather and deals with the terrible
tragedy of the holocaust and how it has affected many
generations.
Glen Hirshberg has written a book that really
makes you think. It is not one that you read and put down and that
is the end of it. The stories are so different that they stay with
you. You might call them "weird" or "supernatural" but Mr.
Hirschberg has the talent of creating these stories with the result
of each story "haunting" the reader for some time.
Read this
book when you have some time so you can think about the stories. You
will find them moving and thought absorbing. You will want to take a
moment to contemplate what you have just read!
