BOOK REVIEW

     JUDY GARLAND - JOHN FRICKE

This book contains hundreds of rare and previously unpublished photographs of Judy Garland, both in color and black and white.

The book is broken down by decades beginning with the 1920's and ending with the 1960's.  At the beginning of each decade there is an introduction and each picture has a description.  There are also many comments from friends, other professionals in the business, and some from Judy Garland which highlight her accomplishments on stage, film, television, radio and recordings.  The book also contains many candid shots of Judy.

If you are a Judy Garland fan, this is a must book for you to add to your collection.  The photographs are beautifully illustrated and are a keepsake for collectors.  If Judy Garland was before your time and you are only familiar with her name, this is a great place to start to learn more about a legend.   John Fricke has done an excellent job in putting this book together!
