Stephanie Plum is a bond enforcement agent (better known as a
bounty hunter). Things just don't seem to go right for
her. She has accidentally blown up a dozen cars.
The story begins quite innocent. Stephanie and her
partner, Lulu, arrive at the deli. Their biggest decision at
the moment was trying to decide what to eat. They ended up in
the middle of a robbery, which leads to an explosion, and the
destruction of another car.
To make matters worse,
Stephanie now becomes the target of a gang. Now she has to decide
where to hide while the hunt is on for the killer known as the
Junkman.
How will Stephanie manage to get herself out
of this mess this time?
Janet Evanovich fans will love
this book. The story contains the characters in previous
Stephanie Plumb books like Grandma Mazur, Lulu and Joe
Morelli. This is one that is very humorous and is a great read
for the summer. If you are looking for a mystery with a
complex plot that will keep you biting your nails, this is not the
book for you. However, if you are looking for a few laughs and
need a book to take to the beach or to just sit back and relax, this
is the one. It is well worth reading!
