Carnegie Kincaid is a wedding planner. When asked to
manage a bachelor party she tactfully refuses. There
was, however, something about this party that intrigued her.
Could it be that her significant other was also at the party?
Carnegie is having problems with their relationship. It just
so happens that he told her he is married.
As she
looked toward the window where the party was being held, she could
see silhouettes of a shapely Santa Claus. When she discovered
a pair of binoculars, she used them to view more of what was happening
at the party. What did she see? Almost too much!
She noticed two people fighting - the best man and her friend's brother,
Jason. She also noticed the groom was in view but he was on his knees vomiting.
The next day, the body of the groom's best man is pulled
from the canal. Just how much did Carnegie see through the
binoculars? Will she tell the police? She starts to do a
little investigating herself and doesn't realize that danger
lurks.
Mystery fans will enjoy this book. This is
Deborah Donnelly's third book. This is one you will want to
read in a comfortable place where you can sit and relax because you
are in for a treat. Deborah Donnelly is a talented
writer. I have not read her other two books but from all the
reviews I have read of them, reviewers state that each book keeps
getting better.
