This
book portrays Bill Clinton's life from the time he was a young child
up through the Presidency. He goes into a great amount of
detail about his troubled childhood and how it was to live with an
abusive stepfather. The book contains many details about his
relatives, his time in college, his marriage to Hillary and the
Presidency.
Throughout the book he gives a candid
account of what he believes were his greatest accomplishments and on
the other hand, his worst failures.
The only flaw I
saw in this book is that it is too wordy. I'm sure it could
have been condensed. No matter what political party we belong
to, one would have to agree that Bill Clinton is intelligent and he
has charisma. These two traits alone would make one want to
read this book. The book also gives the reader much insight
into the presidency. When reading this book, you will feel
like your listening to Bill Clinton sitting right there next to you
telling his story. We all would have to agree that he sure has
a story to tell! I would recommend this book; however, it will
take some time to read it.
