Will
Colby has just returned to his Virginia home after serving in the
Merchant Marines. However, he was in for a shock. His
wife was dead on the kitchen floor. It just so happens that
Will promised her a honeymoon and he was still determined to take
the trip. He placed her remains in travel coolers and headed
south.
Phil Winter's teenage soon was found at the
bottom of a swamp. He apparently lost control of his van
during an asthma attack. Phil recovered his son's decomposed
scull and left on a trip to New York. He and his son had
planned the trip some time ago. They were hoping the trip
would bring them closer.
Along the way, there are many
strange things that happen such as seeing a boy with an ear of corn
attached to his deformed arm and a son of a motel owner who
manipulates car accidents for profit.
Little did these
two know that their destinies would be crashing together on
I-95.
The author surely has a huge imagination to write this
book. This is Clay McLeod Chapman's first novel. The
plot is full of suspense and really keeps you guessing as to what
these two will do next. This book is unique - not like one
that you have read before. This is an interesting book to read
especially if you like plots that are eerie and full of
imagination!
