Bobby
Newman isn't having much luck. He's been drinking too much
lately, his wife is having an affair and he just can't come up with
an idea for his next screenplay.
One night Bobby
looked through his telescope and saw a couple in a compromising
position. He noticed that they began to argue. He
recognized the woman. She picks up a trophy and kills her
lover.
Instead of reporting this crime to the police,
Bobby realized that this would make the perfect screenplay that he
has been having such a hard time trying to write. To get more
information for his screenplay, Bobby becomes close to the woman who
murdered her lover and also gets involved with the detective
investigating the case.
Where does this all lead for
Bobby?
Steven Bochco is the co-creator of Hill Street
Blues, L.A. Law and NYPD Blue. He has done an excellent job
with this book. We couldn't ask for a better plot. You
can almost see the characters come to life. You feel like you
are right there in Hollywood. There is suspense and humor in
the story. This book is a real page-turner so plan on reading
it when you have some free time because you won't want to put it
down!
