          HOUR GAME - DAVID BALDACCI

Michelle Maxwell left the Secret Service to start a private investigation firm with another Secret Service Agent, Sean King.  King left the Secret Service under a dark cloud and began a new career as an attorney.  While Michelle was still in the Secret Service, King was handling a number of local murder cases.  Due to some success, Michelle suggested that the two begin their own firm.

Michelle enjoyed jogging especially through the woods.  This day, however, she heard a noise.  The sounds kept coming - she was sure it was human feet.  It turned out to be a young boy.  A few seconds later another boy appeared.  She noticed the younger boy's face was streaked with dirt and tears.  She asked what was wrong but the two took off running.  She followed the path of the two boys and was horrified as to what came next.  The direction of the wind changed and she almost gagged.  It was the smell of putrefied flesh.  Human flesh!  She called 911.

Sean and Sylvia Diaz arrived.  Sylvia was the deputy medical examiner assigned to this area.  The murder victim had a very special watch on her wrist.  It turned out to be a Zodiac watch.  Sean was sure there would be more murders in the future.

Who was this madman?  Is he going to copy other murders that were done in the past?

The two main characters, Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, are very likeable and you will enjoy the role they play in this novel.  What makes it more intriguing is they both had some personal problems on the job before agreeing to be partners.

David Baldacci is known as a master storyteller.  When you read this book you will understand why he is given that title.  The plot will take you on a wild ride of suspense.  Don't put off reading this book.  There is a lot of action and danger as Sean and Michelle try to find the killer.  You won't want to stop reading even for a moment.  It is highly recommended.
