Featured Book - Oneness with Shiva: Meditate on the Self as The Self by Acharya Ricardo B. Serrano, R.Ac.
The important questions: "Who am I? Why
was I born? What is the goal of my life? What am I supposed to accomplish here?" are hopefully answered in this supplementary book to the "Return to Oneness with Shiva" with the help of my Siddha Guru Baba Muktananda's excerpts from his books and my Sadguru Nityananda's grace which are based from the Self-realization teachings of Kashmir Shaivism. Who and what you meditate on, you become. When you meditate on the Self as the Self, you become one with Shiva, the Self of all.
To become aware of So'ham, "I am That," is to attain oneness with the Higher Self.
The result of the integration of the Siddha Guru and the awakened Kundalini is a meditation that is very powerful.
The subtle path to the Self is most easily attained through the Guru. Kabir said that the Guru makes one perfect; he unites the individual soul with Shiva.
Unconditional love is the fulcrum of this universe, the original point of the universe. In the practice of Hanuman Qigong, efforts must be made to integrate the mind and heart, to feel the interaction between Love and Qi, restoring the experience of harmony in the world, in nature, and the Universe.

Featured Book - Chasing Normal by T.L. Hoch
Annie Smith is a rare young woman in the world
of high school sports. Her talent is exceeded only by her commitment to fair play and maintaining
a humble demeanor. She doesn't compete for the accolades or the recognition. She plays for other reasons: the exhilaration of competition and the challenge of overcoming difficult situations on the basketball court and the softball diamond. Annie moves to Texas with her mother a few months before her junior year of high school. Her father, a rock musician, was killed three years earlier in a plane crash. She is in favor of the move because it will give her the opportunity for a fresh start.
The press and jealous teammates back in Arkansas made life almost unbearable for the high school sophomore. No matter what she did, they seemed to always take it the wrong way. Her philosophy in her new home is to stay low-key and draw as little attention to herself as possible. She even decides to go by her initials, B. A., instead of Annie. Her plan would have worked had it not been for one Melinda 'Chip' Fullerton, Reston's top female athlete. The little point guard/shortstop has a plan of her own, and the new girl in town is going to be a key piece of the puzzle.
Chip and her good friend, Luke Slowinski, are proud of their detective abilities when it comes to digging up information on people. They are suspicious of B. A. from the beginning. There was just something about her that didn't add up. B. A. adds fuel to the fire by challenging, and beating, a high school bully in an arm wrestling contest. At first, Chip thinks B. A. and her mom are in the Witness Protection Program. When that theory is shot down, her next one places B. A. as an FBI informant, gathering information on the high school kids in the area. Chip and Luke's sleuthing turn up some interesting facts on B. A. A choice piece of information comes at an opportune time in the form of a fax from B. A.'s former high school. B. A. finally changes her mind about disguising her basketball abilities. Up until the Ferguson game, her coach had been an unwilling participant in her scheme, as she refused to play B. A. in her rightful position at forward, thinking that the new girl was too short to play that position. The coach was sick, and not was not in attendance, to see B. A. totally dominate one of the area's best, and most obnoxious, players. But, at practice the next day, it was as if her fantastic performance didn't even happen. Coach Todd tells B. A. to fall in with the guards for the team's drills. Chip decides to take matters in her own hands. She gets the assistant coach to set up a scrimmage to showcase B. A.'s talent at forward, and to show that their offense needs to be changed to fit the team's personnel. Her good friend, Jenny Olsen, chooses one team while Jenny's twin sister, Tammi, picks the other team. Tammi and Chip have an intense rivalry that dates back to the fifth grade. Jenny's twin is very critical of B. A., since Chip latched on to the new girl right after school started. Tammi's general nastiness and arrogance drives Chip crazy, but B. A. just takes it all in stride. She didn't expect things to be perfect in her new school anyway. Chip's second plan of attack is to make a little doll that looks like her coach. She doesn't think the doll will have any ill effect on her coach and isn't the type of person to harm anyone on purpose. The little point guard is just frustrated about the whole situation: the team not playing well and B. A. being forced to play at the wrong position. The doll scheme backfires when Luke sticks a pin in it and the coach collapses on the floor after playing in the scrimmage. Chip thinks her doll is the reason the coach got sick and is prepared to face the consequences. Assistant coach, Anne Harbison, takes over the team while Coach Todd recovers from an appendectomy, and puts B. A. in her rightful spot on the team. From the next game on, the team begins to click. B. A. is a true superstar that is capable of bringing out the best in her teammates. Chip should be happy at this point, but with her it's always something. She doesn't like it when B. A. starts to go with Chip's cousin, Rod. He is quite a physical specimen at 6'7' and 250 pounds. Rod is a college sophomore at UNT in Denton. Rod and B. A.'s age difference becomes a problem until they get it all straightened out in a dramatic confrontation in Rod's garage. Chip feels that having a boyfriend is a distraction when it comes to sports. That's why she insists that Luke is not her boyfriend, which he obviously is.
B. A. can do it all on the basketball floor: score, rebound, pass, play defense and run. She decides to help Chip and Jenny out with their games. Her instruction after practice pays big dividends as both girls show marked improvement. The janitor is an accomplice in the tutoring sessions by keeping an eye out for intruders. He informs B. A. that he knows about her past exploits as a basketball player and a softball pitcher. She asks him to keep her pitching abilities a secret, because she's not sure if she wants to pitch for the high school team. He understands, and asks her to come to his place to give his niece some pitching tips.
The season ends with Reston playing phenomenal basketball. Coach Todd comes back from her surgery and apologizes to the team for her shortsightedness. B. A. stands and applauds her coach in a show of forgiveness. The team rolls over their opponents in the first few games of the state playoffs. B. A. gets a chance to go against a girl that she had met playing ball with Rod and some of his friends from college on the outdoor courts at UNT. Kay McCoy's sportsmanship and attitude were not the best when they first met. In her mind, a fierce competitor was supposed to be in her opponent's face to show them how tough you were. She also predicts a huge victory over the Reston squad and tells anyone who will listen what her team will do to B. A. and her teammates. B. A. silences her with a 52-point performance that gets noticed throughout the entire state. The Reston season finally comes to an end despite a valiant 32 point effort by their new star. On the day of the big game, Chip and B. A. get stuck unloading a truck for the local grocery store. They are both tired and obviously do not bring their best games to the gym. Jenny doesn't even play at all, due to an illness. In the post-game interviews the two stars praise their opponents and do not mention their activities earlier in the day. Luke is the sports editor for the school newspaper and he writes a superb article that some of the local papers decide to run. They are impressed with the fact that he incorporates sports history in his editorials.
The only issue that is not resolved by the end of the book is Tammi's poor attitude and behavior. The story ends with Tammi telling B. A. that softball will be totally different than basketball (B. A. replaced Tammi as a starting forward in basketball). She says that B. A. can forget about being the center of attention like she was for the last half of the basketball season, because she (Tammi) is the number one pitcher and the star of the softball team.

Featured Book - The Cure & Cause of Cancer: An Alternative Holistic Approach to Heal Cancer by Ricardo B. Serrano, R.Ac.
As a registered acupuncturist, I have been researching for over 30 years on the best alternative holistic - body, mind and spirit - functional medicine based therapies for healing cancer and degenerative diseases that work. The main focus of the seven books of You Hold the Keys to Healing -is to heal the body, mind, and emotions by building the Qi of the energy body (lightbody or energy bubble) while achieving Self-realization through meditation and Qigong.
This final seventh book "The Cure and Cause of Cancer: An Alternative Holistic Approach to Heal Cancer," is focused on the therapeutic measures to heal cancer manifesting in the body through the Budwig diet, Cessiac herbal formulas, alkaline ionized water, reishi mushroom and other tonic herbs to detox the body and boost the body's Wei Qi immune system. Oriental medical therapies such as acupuncture, acupressure, pranic healing, meditation and Qigong are also used to balance and build the Qi in the body.
An important therapeutic tool emphasized in this book is the addition of an unorthodox therapy using hydrazine sulfate to address the wasting syndrome problem often seen with cancer patients - cachexia.
Basically, hydrazine sulfate inhibits gluconeogenesis (the liver's recycling of lactic acid into glucose) where the sugar is consumed in ever-increasing amounts by voracious cancer cells, and halt the leading cause of death in cancer: cachexia. Dr. Joseph Gold, the developer of hydrazine sulfate therapy said, "For the past 50 years the attention of the medical profession has been focused on the tumor. But all attempts to treat the tumor — to kill the tumor and therefore wipe out the disease — have in general been futile. During the past 50 years the death rate from this disease has reportedly hardly budged, decreasing at the most 5 percent overall, and in the major cancers not decreasing at all. Cytotoxic chemotherapy, the major weapon to defeat cancer in the last 50 years, has succeeded in killing cancer cells, but in killing normal cells, too, and has been itself a cause of cancer mortality. Effective cancer control may lie, rather, with therapy of the 'shift' to glycolysis, than with tumor therapy, potentially obviating such developments as drug resistance and major drug toxicity. In this regard it is recognized that not only can the "metabolic shift to enhanced glycolysis" provide a basis for cancer treatment but that discovery of the regulatory mechanism(s) underlying this metabolic shift may be essential to the future development of anti-cancer therapy." Why do I, as a licensed health care professional, recommend Hydrazine Sulfate to my patients who are under the care of their medical doctors? Hydrazine sulfate is marketed in the United States and Canada as a dietary supplement /nutraceutical by some companies. In the United States and Canada, dietary supplements are regulated as foods, not drugs. However, I also believe that hydrazine sulfate is the missing important therapeutic tool to solve the riddle of the wasting syndrome – cachexia – in cancer, and stop the voracious cancer cells to use glucose.
"These studies in essence suggest that it would be sheer insanity for a cancer patient failing current therapy, not to try hydrazine sulfate. To wait until his/her disease becomes truly terminal, from which there is no return." - Dr. Gold
